Glad to see you at this years Harvest. My favorite time of the year.... All the brilliant colors gleeming... Painted by the hand of God! So glorious is the crisp blue sky... and the beautiful leaves floating in the wind... This breathtaking scene I am so thankful for! ~~~~~~~~~~
My 2001 thoughts: This has been a very sad year for America, for the World.... with all of the wicked terrorism taking place. The horrors that took place in New York City, Washington D.C. and Pennsylvania shocked the world. I once was employed at the Towers and could not believe I was seeing them destroyed... All the innocent lives lost...in the buildings... in the planes...on the ground...how tragic... ......it was so devastating. ~~~~~~~~~~
The past years the world was exposed to many different incidents of terror that invaded all our lives and broke our hearts again. United with our brothers and sisters throughout America, our hope is for Peace, Love and Kindness to all Nations. I pray each day for God to protect us and all that we cherish and love, our peace, our freedoms. We must have faith in God, continue our courage, our support and love to one another. Never forget that this Earth was made for You and Me! It belongs to All Nations to love and protect for all of our future generations. God Bless America and protect our freedoms God Bless and protect our planet Earth! ~~~~~~~~~~
I found this prayer that I would like to share with you. ~A Prayer~ Give us, Lord, a bit o'sun, A bit o'work and a bit o'fun, Give us in all the struggle and sputter, Our daily bread and a bit o' butter, Give us health our keep to make And a bit to spare for other's sake Give us too, a bit of song, And a tale and a book to help us along, Give us, Lord, a chance to be Our goodly best, brave, wise, and free, Our goodly best for ourselves and others Till all men learn to live as brothers. ~~An Old English Prayer~~ ~~~~~~~~~~
This Thanksgiving Day I will celebrate all the beautiful traditions handed down to me.. Share all the loving memories of years gone by... Memories made by Family and dear Friends. I will make new memories this Thanksgiving to cherish.... and add to my treasure chest. These memories I will never forget! No one can ever take this wealth away from me! This is what I am so grateful for...... This is my Thanksgiving! Star*Dreamer
~Thank You, God~ Thank you God for all that grows, Thank you for the sky's rainbows, Thank you for the stars that shine, Thank you for these friends of mine, Thank you for the moon and sun. ~Author Unknown~
~Besides the Autumn Poets Sing~ Besides the autumn poets sing, A few prosaic days A little this side of the snow And that side of haze. A few incisive mornings, A few ascetic eyes, Gone Mr. Bryant's golden-rod, And Mr. Thomson's sheaves. Still is the bustle in the brook, Sealed are the spicy valves; Mesmeric fingers softly touch The eyes of many elves. Perhaps a squirrel may remain, My sentiments to share, Grant me, O Lord, a sunny mind, Thy windy will to bear! ~Emily Dickinson~ ~1830-1886~
"Don't walk in front of me, I may not follow. Don't walk behind me, I may not lead. Walk beside me and be my friend." ~Albert Camus~
Thanksgiving The year has turned its circle, The seasons come and go. The harvest all is gathered in And chilly north winds blow. Orchards have shared their treasures, The fields, their yellow grain, So open wide the doorway.... Thanksgiving comes again! ~Author Unknown~
