Glad to see you at this years Harvest.
My favorite time of the year....
All the brilliant colors gleeming...
Painted by the hand of God!
So glorious is the crisp blue sky...
and the beautiful leaves floating in the wind...
This breathtaking scene I am so thankful for!

~~~~~~~~~~
My 2001 thoughts:
This has been a very sad year for America,
for the World....
with all of the wicked terrorism taking place.
The horrors that took place in New York City,
Washington D.C. and Pennsylvania shocked the world.
I once was employed at the Towers and could not
believe I was seeing them destroyed...
All the innocent lives lost...in the buildings...
in the planes...on the ground...how tragic...
......it was so devastating.
~~~~~~~~~~

2001 was also extremely sad for our family.
We first lost our dear Brother to Cancer and a few
months later our precious Mom to Alzheimer's.
These terrible diseases invaded their lives
and pierced our hearts...
along with the events of September 11th,
my life has changed, it has changed for all of us!

~~~~~~~~~~
This year 2002 the world was exposed
to many different incidents of terror
that invaded all our lives and broke our hearts again.
United with our brothers and sisters throughout America,
our hope is for Peace, Love and Kindness to all Nations.
I pray each day for God to protect us
and all that we cherish and love, our peace, our freedoms.
We must have faith in God,
continue our courage, our support and love to one another.
Never forget that this Earth was made for You and Me!
It belongs to All Nations to love and protect
for all of our future generations.
God Bless and protect our planet Earth!
~~~~~~~~~~

2003 Our President took us to war.
Our military men and women were called to fight
a war called "Weapons of Mass Destruction".
I don't understand this war.
The world changed it's view of America.
Terrorism has hit all around the world.
I pray for Peace!
I pray for the safety of our Military.
I pray to have America be what our Founders wrote
into our Constitution what it should be for all of our citizens.
I pray for all nations to be at peace with each other.

~~~~~~~~~~
2004.. Another year has passed...the war goes on.
Over 1000 of our military heroes have been killed.
Thousands have also been injured.
Thousands of civilians of Iraq have also been killed and injured.
They must have their freedom to vote and elections
so we can bring our troops home to their loved ones.
We must all again unite for peace in the world.
There is a solution, no country wants to live with the threat
of terror and fear everyday. We all want to have a better future
with peace, respect and prosperity for all nations.
Bombs and guns will not give this to us. Intelligent negotiations
with the leaders of the world will!
~~~~~~~~~~

2005 and the war goes on. Over 2000 American Troops have died.
Over 15,000 have been severly injured, many have lost limbs and eyesight.
Thousands of Iraqis have died. There was an election for Democracy.
The fighting continues, terrorism has multiplied. Cindy Sheehan went to Crawford, TX
to talk to the President. Many supporters joined her against the war.
The President did not meet with them. There were many demonstrations against
the war in the USA. We want our troops home. They have suffered enough for this
unjust war in Iraq. We need to focus on the needs of the people of the USA.
Hurricanes, floods and Katrina has devostated thousands of our people.
We need jobs for the unemployed, shelter for the homeless, health plan for seniors
and the needy. Funds for Education and our infra-structure. Clean air and the prevention
of more pollution. This has been a year that we will never forget.
We pray for PEACE in the World 2006.

~~~~~~~~~~
I found this prayer that I would like to share with you.
~A Prayer~
Give us, Lord, a bit o'sun,
A bit o'work and a bit o'fun,
Give us in all the struggle and sputter,
Our daily bread and a bit o' butter,
Give us health our keep to make
And a bit to spare for other's sake
Give us too, a bit of song,
And a tale and a book to help us along,
Give us, Lord, a chance to be
Our goodly best, brave, wise, and free,
Our goodly best for ourselves and others
Till all men learn to live as brothers.
~~An Old English Prayer~~
This Thanksgiving Day I will celebrate
all the beautiful traditions handed down to me..
Share all the loving memories of years gone by...
Memories made by Family and dear Friends.
I will make new memories this Thanksgiving to cherish....
and add to my treasure chest.
These memories I will never forget!
No one can ever take this wealth away from me!
This is what I am so grateful for......
This is my Thanksgiving!
Thank you God for all that grows,
~Besides the Autumn Poets Sing~
Besides the autumn poets sing,
A few prosaic days
A little this side of the snow
And that side of haze.
A few incisive mornings,
A few ascetic eyes,
Gone Mr. Bryant's golden-rod,
And Mr. Thomson's sheaves.
Still is the bustle in the brook,
Sealed are the spicy valves;
Mesmeric fingers softly touch
The eyes of many elves.
Perhaps a squirrel may remain,
My sentiments to share,
Grant me, O Lord, a sunny mind,
Thy windy will to bear!
Thanksgiving
The year has turned its circle,
The seasons come and go.
The harvest all is gathered in
And chilly north winds blow.
Orchards have shared their treasures,
The fields, their yellow grain,
So open wide the doorway....
Thanksgiving comes again!
